Believe it or not – this is a railway station, not the Botanical Garden.
Looking so peacefully, the wonderful station Atocha was one of the sites of the terrorist attacks of March 11 in 2004.
The Crystal Palace (Palacio de Cristal) in the Retiro park (Parque
del Retiro). Built 1887 as a winter garden, it houses now
changing exhibitions.

Market in the Old Town, close to Plaza Mayor
One of the twin KIO Towers, mirroring a tower of the former
Madrid waterworks (located at Plaza de Castilla).
Below the tower was a huge underground water tank which is
now used as a gorgeous exhibition hall with 144 columns.
